Focusing on Sales, Executive, Marketing and Technical recruitment across the Information Technology sectors, we work with many of the largest Tier 1 vendors through to niche VC backed companies handling organic growth to the most critical executive hires. With highly experienced consultants and utilising a dedicated search methodology, we are able to produce the highest caliber of candidate possible for our global clients

The JPS story so far:

We started with just the three of us in 2008 at the peak of the recession. Our business was formed on the belief that traditional recruitment organisations were simply not delivering the service levels we believed both clients and candidates deserved. Our focus concentrated solely on being experts within our field and delivering unrivaled completion rates underpinned with the highest standards of consistent and professional communication, an often criticised trait of the recruitment industry. As a result of this focus we have now established a very strong reputation within the market and act as the trusted adviser to our clients who are looking at growth plans on a National, EMEA and Global basis.

This loyal and impressive client base has given JPS the foundation to add some of the best talent within the recruitment market in the midlands to our team whilst also bringing some of the brightest graduate caliber individuals within the area to form a formidable service within the market. As a result JPS is able bridge the gap between the passive corporate global search firms, and the niche consultancies with restricted delivery capabilities.

When and why JPS moved to Birmingham Science Park Aston:
JPS moved to the park in 2008 and have continued to stay because of a mixture of the Flexibility/convenience/environment – growing reputation of the park/true technology goals and aspirations for the future align with our business model and expertise.

Best Business lesson Learned:
What you lack in natural ability or knowledge you can make up for with an excellent work ethic doing the right things! We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.

 Best Business tip we have to offer:
Have a strong set of business principles that your business is based on but be forever conscious of the market conditions, be ahead of the curve and above all listen to your clients wants and needs. Adapt and be flexible to this information and above all keep it simple!

JPS looking forward:
Continued growth based on the sound principles of service levels and client needs. This will be focused on expanding the divisions within JPS that will offer our ever growing client base a comprehensive solution for Mid – Senior level hires across Executive, Sales, Technical and Marketing positions. As our client base is now a global one, the potential of further JPS sites in countries of concentrated business would also be a natural progression which aligns well with the park’s links with other European Science Parks.

This is a whole team of strange and interesting from ex professional golf and football coaches, to actors, black belt karate experts and leading band members!!
