- This event has passed.
June 4, 2013 @ 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The event will be hosted in conjunction with Lloyds Development Capital, who will provide a forum for entrepreneurs to have a chance at pitching their business or business plan to potential investors.
The panel comprises:
Andy Lyndon – Investment director at private equity house LDC.
Neal Ghandi – serial entrepreneur and investor. He is a co-founder of Quickstart Global, Chairman of Raising IT and Chairman of Questers Group.
Chris Rawstron – Partner at Irwin Mitchell for the Birmingham offices.
There will be another representative present from LDC although the actual individual is yet to be confirmed, and there is the possibility of having one other serial entrepreneur and private investor.
It is a great chance to pitch to successful, serial entrepreneurs and the directors of this leading UK mid-market private equity house, in a low risk, friendly environment. It will also provide you with valuable feedback and could lead to direct business and funding opportunities.
The event details are as follows:
‘Entrepreneur to Investor’ will take place at a venue TBC in Birmingham between 15:30 and 19:00 on Tuesday 4th June with 4 or 5 companies pitching. Each company will get up to 15 minutes to make their pitch, and 10 minutes to answer questions from the panel. Following this, the panel will provide the pitching company feedback and an opportunity to ask questions. Therefore, the pitch time for each ‘team’ will be 30 minutes.
We would also like to invite all attending companies the opportunity to sit in on the other pitches to provide further learning (subject of course to confidentiality and the pitchers’ permission).
We’re delighted to be bringing this very special opportunity to you and would be grateful if you could respond as soon as possible if you wish to ‘pitch’.
Please do get in contact with me if you would like to pitch at our Entrepreneur to Investor event, and to discuss terms and conditions.
We look forward to hearing from you: email@example.com
