Etive Technologies secures three new business contracts

Innovation Birmingham Campus-based digital data handling solution provider, Etive Technologies, has signed three new notable contracts following a successful year for the company.

Etive Technologies provides personal and property digital data handling solutions through a series of web based ‘Log Book’ products – the Digital Log Book for personal information and the Home Log Book for property information.

Solihull Community Homes, Gloucester City Homes and London Borough of Tower Hamlets have signed up to the Digital Log Book service; allowing their combined databases of nearly 40,000 tenants to better manage their tenancy and digital identity. This will also enable each housing association and Council to streamline their services and personalise their offering by better understanding their demographics; catering available materials to meet the needs and requirements of each individual tenant.

Stuart Young, Managing Director of Etive, said: “User figures from a recent report by BT show 8.6 million people in the UK don’t engage online and of that, 4.5 million of these people are in social housing. In response to this, our service will enable Councils and housing associations to better engage with those who are digitally disadvantaged.

“By aggregating each user’s online data, the Digital Log Book will allow those in social housing to have privacy and control of their personal information and access to tailored services. It will also help people and organisations to avoid loss and data, making it both easily accessible and reusable for the user online.

“We are thrilled to be working with Solihull Community Homes, Gloucester City Homes and London Borough of Tower Hamlets moving forward to better support those in social housing.”

Etive Technologies is a member of the Open Identity Exchange, a US and UK body which creates standards for online identity in the internet, telecommunication and data aggregation industries concerned with both market expansion and information security.

They are one of 150 technology tenants currently based at Innovation Birmingham Campus, following the recent completion of the 42,149 sq ft iCentrum building. Significant investment guarantees the Campus benefits from a 30Gbit/s broadband service – equalling the fastest internet connection available anywhere in the UK.
