Innovation Birmingham Campus-based Team Football has announced the signing of a deal to bring the official French Football Federation game to mobiles and tablets. The first game to launch utilising this license will be Official Equipe de France. The game will be released in early June on iOS, Android and Windows 8 phones and tablets.
This license enables Team Football to launch an authentic game based on the French national side, including the FFF logo and all of the French squad who will be heading to Brazil to take part in the World Cup. The signing of this license signals the start of a number of similar announcements in the coming weeks relating to rebranding the gaming developer’s previously announced World Football title globally.
Kevin Azan for the French Football Federation said “FFF is proud to work with Team Football in order to offer our fans the possibility to make their dream come true and win the World Tournament. We are sure the fans’ experience will be enhanced thanks to the inclusion of official players and logos.
Official Equipe de France will only be available to purchase in France and a number of French speaking territories. However, Official Equipe de France also allows players in other territories to download the official French data to add to their experience – so players around the globe will be able to play as one of the current crop of French talent.
Official Equipe de France will feature four main game modes:
- World Tournament mode offers a traditional international tournament format
- World League mode users can upgrade player stats, and build their squad like a true manager
- Friendlies will allow the player to practice and play as your favourite teams
- Scenario mode will put players in the shoes of real life events; additional scenarios will be made available for download during the course of the summer.
Creative Director of Team Football, Steven Huckle said: “We hope to bring enjoyment to football fans across the world by giving regular updates and keeping up-to-date with real life scenarios.”
