Tech Wednesday returns to iCentrum

Do you want to meet and collaborate with like-minded individuals in the tech industry? Then it’s still not too late to book your place at tonight’s Tech Wednesday event!

Held at Innovation Birmingham Campus’ brand new iCentrum building, Tech Wednesday is a monthly meet-up for tenants and prospective Entrepreneurs for the Future (e4f) members to get together and chat about all things tech – with presentations from industry influencers who provide an insight into their personal business journeys.

This month’s presentations will be delivered by Founder & CEO at Pinipa, Faith Forster; Freelance Developer, Kevin Carmody and Founder CEO at Expert Trades, Adam Callow:

Faith Forster, Founder & CEO at Pinipa

After closing a successful seed funding round with Passion Capital, Pinipa discovered they needed to pivot. Faith chats through the journey they went on to refine the pain point they were solving to deliver a high quality, enterprise-ready product.

Kevin Carmody, Freelance Developer

Kevin talks about how business owners and developers can come to a common understanding, in order to (hopefully) help you improve your process visibility.

Adam Callow, Founder CEO at Expert Trades

Getting funded should never be the goal, but for many start-ups it’s needed to scale. Adam Callow shares the five mistakes he made taking a company from bootstrapped at his kitchen table working on his own to VC funded with a team of nine working from Birmingham.

There will also be time for Q&A session from the crowd, followed up by pizza, beer and networking in our impressive iCentrum atrium – an event not to be missed! Also, don’t forget to get involved on Twitter by tweeting us at @innobham and @techwednesday to get involved in all the tech chat online.

To book your place at tonight’s event, visit: If you’re unable to make it, the next Tech Wednesday date for your diary will be 15th June from 5.30pm. Look forward to seeing you then!
