Birmingham-based provider of technology solutions for the property industry ‘brightLET’ has been selected as a Midlands winner in the Barclays Entrepreneurs Awards 2017.
The cloud based lettings and property management tool runs from the Serendip Smart City Incubator at the Innovation Birmingham Campus and will be going up against seven other regions in the national final for the start-up category on 11th October at the Leadenhall Building in London.
Launching in 2017, the platform now has over 300 landlords and 600 tenants using its services, which have been designed by landlords to connect directly with tenants, enabling them to manage properties remotely. Camran Khan, Founder and CEO of brightLET said:
“It is extremely rewarding to be recognised as an entrepreneurial leader in the region. It is a huge achievement for us to be representing the Midlands as a thriving hub of innovation at this national ceremony.”
Now in its second year, the Barclays Entrepreneurs Awards offers six award categories in total, celebrating the success, leadership and innovation of entrepreneurs and businesses across the UK. Commenting on the award, Ray O’Donoghue, Managing Director for Barclays in the Midlands said:
