The Wonder Why Society is set to showcase its revolutionary learning environment at the education sector’s national exhibition The Education Show, providing children with safe, 100% moderated access to an online world of discovery and innovation.
Taking place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre between 15th and 17th March, the Innovation Birmingham-based EdTech specialist will be highlighting its free package to state schools and teachers.
Exhibiting at stand J88, The Wonder Why Society is set to showcase alongside exclusive launches of education platforms from organisations such as Birmingham City Council, online video educational support platforms from the BBC and keynote addresses from the likes of Dame Darcey Bussell DBE, who will be discussing the impact of dance fitness on the well-being of students. Matt Yarnall, Project Manager at The Wonder Why Society said:
“Young learners can access an inspirational online environment to learn in and accomplish activities linked to real-world industries, helping to raise aspirations and bridge the skills gap. Children can collaborate with classmates and virtual peers, whilst increasing their digital capability and confidence.”
The Wonder Why Society enables teachers to meet OFSTED requirements, access a moderated learning environment and use free lesson resources including British values and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
As well as encouraging critical thinking amongst pupils and developing their natural curiosity of the world, the platform embeds online safety and digital skills, whilst setting work online.
