A young entrepreneur from the West Midlands has been invited to speak alongside multi-millionaire business founders at the Peter Jones Foundation’s inaugural Festival of Enterprise, EntFest, on the 11th June, hosted by the University of Buckingham.
Katie Buckingham spends her days saving companies thousands of pounds by training their managers to spot the early signs of stress and mental-ill health.
SME and Blue-Chip clients across the country have used Katie’s training to help their staff deal with stress, so that these employees are not pushed to take time off work due to the pressures of their jobs.
Those attending the EntFest on 11th June will get to hear tips from Katie on how they can create a happier, more productive office, by talking openly about mental health.
Combined with her humorous, relatable delivery, Katie’s expert knowledge of mental health has drawn audiences from all corners of the UK to her previous talks.
Katie is one of only six business leaders invited to give an ‘Ent20 Talk’ at EntFest having demonstrated entertaining expression of cutting-edge ideas with a distinguished track-record of success in her chosen field.
The director of Altruist Enterprises' work was recognised at the prestigious Brummies 2017, where she was awarded the Young Achiever of the Year; beating over 100 other leading entrepreneurs to the prize.
‘EntFest’ attendees such as Peter Jones CBE, will also hear speeches from a range of high profile business founders, leaders and investors.
The event will be a celebration of the pioneering businesses preparing the UK for tomorrow’s economic challenges.
