Learning and development consultancy Enploy has today announced the launch of a new one-day Growth Mindset masterclass series for both emerging and established leaders.
Designed for organisations employing between 20 and 500 people and based on the company’s work with clients such as Barclays, Gymshark and Innovation Birmingham; Enploy’s digitally-enabled masterclasses blend individual, group and online activities across six crucial areas of an entrepreneurial mindset; creative thinking, risk, self-belief, EI, leadership and opportunity recognition.
The Birmingham-based digital tech company will be rolling the initiative out at London’s Institute of Directors whilst also reaching out locally in the West Midlands, delivering sessions from its home at the multi-million-pound iCentrum building; the flagship facility at Innovation Birmingham, the UK’s largest campus for digital technology companies.
Jon Allen, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Enploy said: “By thinking more entrepreneurially business leaders can inspire change, success and fulfilment in an organisation. Not every business can invest heavily to develop their leaders simultaneously, but many of the businesses we speak with want an injection of entrepreneurial can-do and problem-solving attitude and the benefits of a growth mindset within their teams. So, we’ve distilled the key learnings and take outs from our longer programmes and made them more accessible to individuals in one day.”
Drawing on a tried and tested entrepreneurial development model previously rolled out for the likes of Gymshark and Barclays, participants will be focusing on elements such as building relationships, behavioural adjustment, innovative thinking, approach to risk, planning for environmental change in the workplace and managing teams.
The development for Enploy comes during a period of growth as the company looks to expand its offering and deliver different packages to allow smaller organisations to empower their workforce to drive change and success in the most effective ways possible. Jon Allen added:
“These open courses provide an ideal opportunity for individuals from an organisation to benefit from our programmes quickly and to take key learnings back into the business to create immediate impact."
The one-day sessions kick off with an individual entrepreneurial mindset diagnostic report, developed and tailored in-house by Enploy. Flagging up entrepreneurial traits and characteristics, the report is then followed by expert insights from Professor Richard Crisp PhD FBPsS and delivered by two experienced trainers, including Sallie Allen, Co-Founder and Operations Director of Enploy.
Beyond the day itself, workshop attendees also receive complimentary access to one Enploy e-learning course, a handbook and digital certificate. The programme, aiming to facilitate professional development quickly and instigate positive change, is being delivered in response to Enploy’s acknowledgement of an underserved area of the professional development sector. Sally Allen added:
“Through offering access to the online diagnostic, online tutors and courses we can share key learnings about the individual’s development to ensure that even with one-off training days there is follow up, impact and ROI on the training.”
David Wright, Barclays Eagle Labs Ecosystem Manager added: “This is a fantastic and invaluable masterclass that Enploy has put together and brought to market at a time when companies in the UK really need to be innovating and developing their people, equipping them with a more entrepreneurial and growth-focused mindset.”
Having brought on a raft of new clients since its arrival at the Innovation Birmingham Campus in March 2017, Enploy now innovates alongside around 170 digital technology businesses having achieved a place on the Barclays Eagle Labs programme, which is delivered alongside other incubators at Innovation Birmingham including the likes of National Express, TATA Motors, Gymshark, the NHS and Transport for West Midlands. Jon Allen added:
“Being part of the Innovation Birmingham ecosystem continues to be a great platform for us to grow the business. Being part of such a dynamic, innovative and fast paced environment alongside other start-up and scale-up businesses and with access to world class facilities and expertise is invaluable to us.”
Early Bird Tickets are now available for all bookings for February and March masterclasses. (Tickets are transferable to someone else). Regular ticket price: £500 per participant – Early Bird price: £400.
