Raising awareness during National Apprenticeships Week

February 6, 2020

Today, as part of ‘National Apprenticeship Week’, we’re hosting an open drop-in session for our customers on site to find out everything there is to know about apprenticeships.

Hosted by the Bruntwood Learning & Development team, we’ll be raising awareness of apprenticeships and providing advice on how to navigate the administration and funding process.

During the course of the day, the team will be on hand to talk about the process and how to access funding, as well as share Bruntwood’s own apprenticeship experiences and learnings.

At the Innovation Birmingham campus, Keerti Rajput and Andrew Corbett both completed completed apprenticeships to join the team. Keerti began her journey with Innovation Birmingham six years ago, completing Business Administration Level 2 & 3

Andrew Corbett completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT and Telecommunications after looking for a change in career. After getting an IT qualification, he was struggling to find an entry level position so decided to go down the apprenticeship route.

The drop in sessions start at 11:00am in iCentrum; before moving over to Faraday Wharf in the afternoon at 1.00pm.
