Reporting to the Tech Team Lead, the UX/UI Designer will develop designs and support material for mobile phone applications and web-based services/websites that bridge end-user and back-end systems, from in-house prototypes to applications on marketplace (Apple, Microsoft, Google). Your main responsibilities will be branding and to capture the customer journey and then design and create wireframes for a range of platforms within a multi-disciplinary team of developers (visual functionality, before our developers start implementing the designs), in close collaboration with individuals and teams across technology and business domains.
Within this role you will be expected to undertake tasks such as gathering user requirements, conducting interviews with internal and external stakeholders, perform comparative analysis (in the form of A/B testing) and creating generic wireframes and UI specifications. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) in a cloud environment (geographically distributed) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment, where the UX/UI/Visual designer will be responsible for the visual elements and providing to the end-user the best possible experience. Ultimately, the role is to support the build of high-quality front-end applications that automate and optimise the operations of airports, business parks and malls, including in-vehicle elements that facilitate this.
