Innovation Birmingham Limited (IBL) has an exciting vacancy for a Project and Events Assistant who will assist in the delivery and administration of Innovation Birmingham projects (specifically but not exclusively the Climate KIC projects and Serendip initiative). Climate KIC programmes focus on entrepreneurship (start-up programmes) and entrepreneurship education (pioneers) funded by European Institute for Innovation and Technology’s Climate Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) initiative.
This role will additionally provide maternity cover for the whole IBL events administration process, details of which are available within the job description.
The role is initially for a period of 12 months commencing in January 2017, however there is a possibility of an extension subject to funding. The role is part funded by European funding.
Reporting to the Head of Projects (shared with a n other for the events element) the job holder will be responsible for supporting the administration and events delivery of a range of European-funded and sponsor-driven projects on Climate KIC and Serendip through the provision of effective and thorough administration.
